Meet our team
Our Warrnambool day spa is home to experienced skincare specialists. Judi & Susan have over 60 years of combined experience and are one of the most established salons in the area.
Hello, my name is Judi O’Brien. I started my Beauty Therapy training while I was living in Dublin, Ireland, in the mid 1980’s. I say started, because there is always more to learn. On my return to Australia, I lived and worked in Melbourne for 11 years. In 1999, my sister Susan and myself moved back to Warrnambool to open our own business, The Land of Eternal Youth – Tir na nOg Skin and Body Therapy.
In 2011, I graduated as a Reflexologist.
I love working with clients to gain their desired results for their skin, whether it be maintenance, anti-ageing, acne or excessive dryness and flakiness on the skin of their body.
Outside of work, I’ve walked four different routes of The Camino de Santiago and would love to do more. My other favourite place is Ireland, where I love to visit family and friends. I have two rescued fur children.
Hi, I’m Susan O’Brien. Judi and I are sisters and I’m number 6 out of 7 children. I started my beauty therapy career (and became qualified in Electrolysis) in 1990 at Flagstaff College of TAFE in Melbourne (now part of Victoria University). In 1999, after 13 years of living “away” in Dublin and Melbourne, Judi and I returned to our home-town, Warrnambool, to open our own beauty therapy salon together.
I love what we do at The Land of Eternal Youth (Tir na nOg Skin & Body Therapy). After over 30 years in the industry (Eek! Has it really been that long?), I’m still doing what I set out to do when I first started beauty therapy, helping our clients feel good about themselves.
When I’m not at work, I love spending as much time as possible with my two young children. They’re growing up way too fast! When my children are in bed, I love watching Heartland on Netflix with a nice glass of wine!
Hello, my name is Susanne Rhodes and l welcome you!
I completed my training in beauty therapy at the Australian College of Aesthetics & Cosmetology in Melbourne in 1990. Yes, l am getting older and wiser! (I hope)! ?
After my training, l worked alongside one of my teachers in her salon in Balwyn where l continued to learn & grow as a therapist. I have been fortunate to work in quite a few salons across Victoria.
Later on, l moved to Warrnambool wanting to be closer to the beautiful coast. I worked in a pharmacy where I set up a beauty room and later established a small salon of my own. Whilst I have also worked in different careers, I have always kept my hand in beauty therapy because l am very passionate about it. In my spare time l enjoy art, photography, music and being in nature. And of course, family and friends.
I am delighted to be part of the TlR NA NOG SKIN AND BODY THERAPY team, and I invite you on a journey with me, where l will tailor your treatments, concerns and needs to your unique individuality. I’ll enhance your natural features and nourish your overall physical & emotional wellbeing, your body and soul, Thank you ?
